BEHAVIORAL MEDICINE CARE

Our Services > Behavioral Medicine Care
Patients and families (and caregivers) seek care for several reasons, including the need for education about themselves and their loved one’s condition, and the need for emotional support as they are faced with individual, couple and family caregiver stressors.
Issues that are frequently addressed include role changes, changes in identity, health problems associated with self-care and caregiving, and emotional distress.
More detail on the range of Behavioral Medicine services provided (e.g., pain management), coming to this page, soon.
Until then, consider this brief MedLine article which answers the question . . . " Is it too scary to tell your doctor you're having memory concerns, even when there's non-scary help available?"

Memory or Attention?
Coming soon, learn about how Attention works. Hint: It's different than how Memory works. = : )
